VAT Refund Opportunity for Golf Clubs

Following a recent First Tier Tax Tribunal ruling, an opportunity has arisen for Golf Clubs to reclaim output VAT declared on visitors’ fees.


Regional Employer NIC Holiday for New Businesses

This scheme announced in the June 2010 Budget is now well underway and providing up to £50,000 worth of relief from Class 1 Employer National Insurance Contributions to new businesses.


Abolition of 36 Reliefs

As part of the drive to simplify the tax system, it is proposed to abolish 36 tax reliefs in 2012 or after.
